Following are some guidelines pertaining to meter readings and bill payments. Around the tenth of each month you will receive your electric statement. Please return your statement to the Cooperative no later than the 30th of each month with your payment. It should be noted that the Cooperative has installed an automated meter reading (AMR) system and members do not need to provide meter readings.
A late payment charge of 1½% is added to the statement if the electric bill is not paid by the 30th of each month. The telephone number for the Cooperative is (712)754-2519 and the toll free number is 1-888-754-2519.
In the event that a payment is not received by the disconnection date printed on the electric statement, a cooperative employee will attempt to collect the amount due or disconnect the service. If a collection/disconnection trip is necessary, the Cooperative will assess the appropriate fees.
